ULTRA Products Enters a New European Chapter at METSTRADE 2026
Two exhibition stands, progress toward ABS certification, and a new European distribution structure mark an important year for the Turkish manufacturer of ULTRA anchoring equipment.
For ULTRA Products, METSTRADE has always been much more than a trade exhibition. Since its first participation in 2010, the Amsterdam show has become an important annual meeting point where the company presents its latest developments, meets boatbuilders and marine professionals, and strengthens relationships built across the international yachting industry.
In 2026, ULTRA Products is taking its METSTRADE presence one step further.
For the first time, the company will exhibit at two locations at METSTRADE 2026, including a dedicated presence within the Superyacht Zone, reflecting the growing importance of ULTRA anchoring solutions in both the leisure marine and superyacht sectors.
More than 20 years of ULTRA anchoring technology
Boyut Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti., trading as ULTRA Products, has designed and manufactured ULTRA-branded anchoring equipment in Türkiye since introducing the original ULTRA Anchor in 2004.
The company’s product range has since expanded into an integrated anchoring system including anchors, swivel connectors, bow rollers and other stainless-steel anchoring components developed for yachts and professional marine applications.
2026 is also a particularly meaningful year for the company, as Boyut Makina celebrates its 50th anniversary, having been established in 1976.
ULTRA Side Pocket Anchor moving forward in the ABS certification process
One key technical development underway is the certification program for the ULTRA Side Pocket Anchor.
ULTRA Products is working to complete the ABS certification process, an important step in the continued development of the Side Pocket anchor range for larger yachts, superyachts, and applications where independently verified technical standards are increasingly important.
The program reflects ULTRA Products’ continuing emphasis on engineering, testing, and documented product performance as the company expands further into the large-yacht and professional marine sectors.
A new European distribution chapter with cromox®
2026 has also brought an important evolution in ULTRA Products’ European commercial structure.
Following a restructuring of its European distribution network, ULTRA Products has begun working with cromox®, bringing together ULTRA’s anchoring technology with one of the marine industry’s best-known names in premium stainless-steel chain and components.
The new cooperation represents more than a distribution change. It is part of a broader strategy designed to bring European boatbuilders, dealers and yacht owners closer to the original manufacturer and to create a stronger technical and commercial framework for the ULTRA product range across Europe.
For markets such as France — home to a major boatbuilding industry, an important superyacht sector and a highly experienced sailing community — ULTRA Products sees significant potential for this new structure.
