ULTRA Bow Roller

Designed and manufactured in Turkey for demanding marine conditions.

It delivers the best results especially when used together with the ULTRA Anchor. A dedicated ULTRA Bow Roller is available for each ULTRA Anchor size, providing optimum compatibility. At the same time, each roller is designed to handle the next smaller or larger ULTRA Anchor size when needed.

The drilling of the mounting holes is intentionally left to the user so their exact position can be determined on the boat. However, if the user specifies the hole positions when ordering, the roller can also be supplied pre-drilled. The body is made of polished 316L stainless steel.

The chain channel often seen on older rollers has been deliberately omitted from the ULTRA Bow Roller. With a quality windlass gypsy and a chain-and-anchor combination connected by a swivel, such a channel is no longer necessary. This eliminates an unwanted effect that can prevent the anchor from self-correcting when it comes back upside down. When used with an ULTRA Anchor, the anchor head rests on the delrin roller in the final position. Because there is no metal-to-metal impact, noise, shock, and scratching are reduced. The rollers are made of delrin, which does not seize through deformation, runs quietly, and requires no maintenance.

The inverted U-shaped bridge at the front limits harsh movements as the anchor comes home, prevents the chain from leaping off the roller, and protects the boat from anchor impact. It also stops unwanted anchor movement while under way. The bridge can be adjusted to eliminate the gap between itself and the anchor.

The arm-locking parts ensure that the anchor remains firmly secured without play even in severe weather. Even so, it is more suitable to use it together with a swivel hook as protection against windlass slippage.
